POLES APART; YET ONE

After watching some articles on female Viagra recently, I observed that the main symptoms it causes on a subject are quite similar to those of anti-depressants; it relaxes, brings at ease a person. Whereas, the symptoms caused by the male Viagra are extreme opposite to its female counterpart. To be more precise, Male Viagra induces increase in BP whereas, Female Viagra induces the lowering of it.

Obviously, the researchers must have invested huge efforts before reaching the final conclusion and releasing both the drugs. The question is, why do the opposite, extreme opposite, qualities are required to be there as pre-requisites in order to achieve the desired destination?

Is the role expected from the feminine is nothing more than only being willing? If so, are the perpetrators forcing themselves on women at large, be it in marriage or otherwise, are missing at something virtuous, the very core? Are they interpreting it all wrong, horribly?

In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang (also yin-yang or yin yang,  yīnyáng "dark—bright") describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Cost of Carrying a Uterus - 2

"Get up energy scientist" It was Radha who woke her up and offered lemonade, after picking the book from Neha's lap.

"I slept so long" Neha said and took glass from Radha.

"Just freshen up and tell me what you have learnt today" Radha told her.

"Nothing much dear, I just slept mid-way" Neha replied.

"Was it so boring?" Radha asked.

"Not at all dear, it's shaking" Neha replied before sipping her last out of the glass.

"Ok then, get up and get ready". Radha pulled Neha by arm and got her on feet.

"Wait" said Neha and moved to bathroom.

"She has got a change recently.... only God knows what's going on in her" Radha murmured to herself while arranging the room. She placed books on their tables and moved to make beds.

"You also get freshen up" Radha just pulled the bed-sheet when she heard that. She turned and said "Getting faster... that's like a good girl"

"Don't know good or what, but girl, I definitely am....and that of todays" Neha replied while Radha moved towards the bathroom.

She looked at her bed and noticed that book was not there. She looked around and found that it was neatly placed on Radha's study table. She picked it and put the same on her's.

"Here we go" Radha came out with a chirpy sound. Beds were ready, in fact the whole room had become neat and clean.

"It must be battle gourd with grams" Radha said while locking the door.

"Teasing?" Neha retorted.

"Nay dear...never. You know I like it" Radha replied.

"And I don't... at all. Just why don't the serve pizza... atleast once a month" Neha said.

"You've them much otherwise too" Radha said while going downstairs.

"Ok, you want to have it ?" Radha asked.

"So...." Neha stared at her with questioning eyes.

"Let's have it" Radha smiled.

"Com'on, we're getting closer" Radha swayed her hands and said.

"Closer to what?" Neha asked further, while her eyes were on staircase.

"The point of no return" Radha replied with a blast of laughter, that Neha also joined. She caught Radha's open palm and they both continued sparkling, with the entrance to the kitchen left behind. "Stupid" Neha only replied.

As they moved out, they both noticed Leena heading towards them, but the reactions on their faces were poles apart. Neha brighten up watching her, whereas, Radha's smile immediately vanish and what was there now was a dumb, plain face.

"Hi.... what's up?" Leena asked looking at Neha.

"Gonna commit suicide, wanna come along?" replied, off course, Radha.

"Come on dear..." Neha jerked her hand, "not always".

"I dislike the way she always keep measuring me, as if I am a prospective target of her", Radha said. Leena had reached. She hugged Neha. After that she opened her arms to Radha, though she felt that she wasn't welcomed.

Neha watched wide eyed when Radha moved forward and responded positively to Leena's invitation. It was perhaps the recent jerk from Neha that made her do that as her face was still conveying the same expressions, no impressions we better say.

"What's up?" Leena quipped.

"Dine out... joining?" Radha replied with an invitation.

"Why not?" Leena felt elated and turned around along them towards the main entrance of the complex. She hold Radha's hand.

"What's there in your pantry?" Neha asked.

"Same old grass and roots...." Leena replied. Meanwhile, Radha, who had got her hand freed till now slowed down a little so that she stayed back a step or two. Both Neha and Leena moved ahead. Radha slowly switched her right and took Neha between her and Leena. Neha was so lost that she perhaps didn't notice that change, but Leena did.

"What's up?" Leena leaned forward and asked Radha, who had now taken hold of Neha's hand and was moving along.

"Nothing, just like that" she replied casually. Interestingly, Neha behaved as if she didn't notice it at all even still.

However, Leena didn't continue with her questioning and informed Neha, "There's a LGBT film festival gonna happen, let's go see a movie, it's free and only an ID proof is required".

"When?", it was Radha, off course against combined surprise of them both.

Both Neha and Leena's necks were fixed towards Radha, similar to those of the members of a parading contingent of cadets reaching in front of the Chief Guest standing on the stage for salutations.  It took a while for both of them to understand that least expected, or may be unexpected, had happened.

Leena, obviously, appeared zestful, whereas Neha mentally went after the 'why' factor.

"Tomorrow, at American Centre, CP" Leena replied, she ensured she looked into the eyes of Radha.

"I, actually hesitated bringing it out in your presence" Leena explained but Radha stopped her midway, "Why?... it's just a movie, a story or a thought of an artiste, provided it's presented decently, and I would also like to have a glimpse of what's it all about"

"That's the spirit," Neha exclaimed and patted Radha on her back with a surprise in her eyes. "Are you....?,", "Why not?," Radha caught Leena midway. They had now reached just outside the main entrance to the Campus. As if instinctively, the trio halted in front of the Kishori Burger Stall, and without a mention, he also started preparing three burgers.

"He indeed is a potential rival to McDonalds" Leena said while having her first bite, while Radha and Neha waited for theirs to reach.

"Here it is" Kishori spoke while serving the other two burgers.

Both Neha and Radha readily received their respective plates and poured huge amounts of chilly and tomato sauces before savouring.

"Whatever, he is our McDonalds, in the face of adversities put up by hostel pantries" it was Neha. Radha kept quiet.

"What are the timings?" Radha asked after finishing her first bite.

"It's in the evening, I'll convey" Leena replied.

"Want more?" Leena asked after finishing her plate.

"No, one is enough" Radha replied while Neha only nodded North to East.

"Well, not for me..." Leena quipped and signalled Kishori to prepare another burger.

Radha kept looking at Leena with a thoughtful gaze. Neha noticed that and nodded in a manner as if saying "what's up?". Radha also replied in the same manner as if saying "Nothing".

Just then Leena also got a wind of the happenings and asked "What?" looking at Radha and Neha, one by one.

"Why do one's not enough?" Radha quipped.

"Well, it's about appetite and that's something very personal and individual....mind?" Leena replied.

"Nay" Radha concluded.
"Let's move" Leena declared after finishing her plate.
"O yes, how much for that?" Leena asked the vendor and offered a hundred rupee note.
"Eighty" he said.
"Then keep the change" Leena told and moved forward holding Neha's hand.

"That's so great of you" Neha commented.

"Impressing a prospective suitor" Leena added with wink.

"Impossible" Neha murmured, however Leena got that and replied, "Nothing is", with a smile and squeezed Neha's hand a little more.

Radha was oblivious, perhaps thinking about something else.

"Why are you at it all the time?" Radha asked.

"Well, it's worth it" Leena left before Neha opened her mouth to reply, though she didn't wait for long and caught up immediately after Leena.

"My mom always said, "There's nothing worth dying for in it, you would realize everything in time,"

"mine too!, do they have undergone the same syllabus on the subject?" Leena exclaimed, "Now you can't disagree", she added watching at Radha.

Radha burst into a sound laugh and said" I can't help it", while she was unable to control herself, or perhaps she didn't want to.

Off course, even Neha stared at Radha with a questioning gaze, as if saying, or asking "How come we didn't talk on that before?,"

"Are you stupid or what?, what are you laughing at?" Though Neha blurted out but within herself, she believed that another gem from "The Divine Union of Energies" could be on the way through Radha. She was all ears.

"I laughed for two reasons" Radha raised her palm and came in front of them both, still walking backwards.

"And what those reasons are my doll....." Leena asked in an extra melodious voice, but Neha interrupted her, "What were you told? tell me that first".

Radha stopped walking and put both her hands on Neha's shoulders. Neha also stopped.

Radha started, "I am told that it's indeed the most wonderful feeling a human body is capable of witnessing but at the same time, it requires a huge amount of patience and preparedness on the part of both the partners. However, whatsoever and howsoever one may try to make it the best, the First is Worst".

"Yes! by all means, though, they all say that, what's new in it?" Leena didn't miss the chance as she felt left behind.

"Not by all means and what makes the difference is the partner....". Radha added, still staring at Neha.

"Off course, there has to be a partner, are you kidding or what?" Leena said. Whereas, Neha stood still all the while, with her eyes wide open as if to grab the most of what Radha was to deliver.

"She asked something" Neha hissed in a voice that only Radha could hear. "I heard that" she said.

"I am told that the partner......, a partner you never repent doing it with, better say never doing it for, and not the outcome of the act, makes all the difference; after all, it has to happen at one or the other moment in life and it's real celebration lies in with whom you were there and chose to share those moments...."

"Not clear" Neha hissed.

"I too responded ditto, though a little more tangibly, and then I was told that it takes only a moment to pause and ponder in such a situation over the fact that whether it's the person before you or it's your own mad rush of raging hormones that's not allowing you to see beyond it's own momentary interest... Perhaps, that's what they call love, or falling in love"

"Poor, child" Leena uttered.

Radha ignored, only apparently, what Leena said and continued gazing at Neha, whose grip on her shoulders had now a little loosened up. It was clear that Neha's eyes only were set on Radha's face and her mind was wandering in some unknown realms. Radha made no attempts to bring her back into reality, moreover, she placed both her palms on her wrists softly, without breaking eye contact. Till now, Leena also had accepted the importance of silence. After a few moments, Neha uttered "sounds good" and removed her hands off Radha.

The trio reached in front of Leena's hostel block in utter silence whereupon, Leena bade good night to both of them and parted. Radha and Neha entered theirs, reached their room and retired for the day, silently. "Hare Krishna" Radha greeted her after she accommodated herself while switching the side lamp off. "Hare Krishna" reply reached.

'You never told...', it was Neha after a few minutes, she knew her friend was still awake.

"I knew you couldn't be preached", Radha replied with a smile that Neha also felt even in the dark.

"Tell me just one thing..." Neha said.

"hmm.." Radha only replied

"How could something be both beautiful and worst at the same time?" Neha asked.

Silence prevailed; Neha decided to have patience.

"Beautiful as the phenomenon and worst when approached vaguely like just everything worthwhile...just think about your own experiences, I don't think you can't answer yourself" Radha replied.

"Taunting?" Neha seemed vexed.

"Do you think so?" Radha asked

"No...." Neha replied and then added, "they are all alike..." before laughing aloud.

"Just keep quiet...the phantom would be on the round" Radha scolded her.

"I don't care" Neha was undeterred.

"But I do" Radha said and changed side.

But Neha wasn't one to surrender, she asked, "Tell me just one thing, do you personally believe in it?"

"Again...you tell me...and I promise I will follow whatever you would, should I or shouldn't?" Radha asked.

"Are you sure, be warned, I could ask you to do anything.." Neha was intense.

"Damn sure" Radha affirmed.

Silence prevailed once more and then Neha replied, "You better be there".

"Thanks, that's like you...I knew it...that's why I love you"

a male arrives in this world with a fair amount of feminine energy as an unavoidable support for existence. Likewise, a female arrives with a fair amount of masculine energy within. Quite like the eyes of the fishes in Yin and Yang symbol.

End of Prostitution 20

"What's wrong in getting directions if it's coming from someone competent, having worked upon and surmounted them" with this thought, he turned against Neha. "What if it doesn't work? .... But it has worked for them and it may work for me too" he reassured himself.

"Oh My God...." he was shocked to see the alarm at bedside, it was 4 AM. "I must get to sleep now" He murmured to himself.

Alarm ran as it was directed to....

Vipin heard it but didn't try to go for snooze though, he was totally unable to get up, yet, he got up in a jerk. Neha was still asleep.

He went to the kitchen and prepared tea for two. Then he came in the bedroom with it and called Neha. He put the tray with tea and a glassful of water at bedside and reached for Neha.

Before he could touch her, she opened eyes, "I'm awake dear."

"Have tea", he handed her the cup.

"Water first" saying that she picked the glass of water and emptied in one go. Thereafter, she put the glass back and took her cup.

"Thanks, .....you got up early?" she asked, taking a sip.

'Yes......" he replied.

Neha was thinking, "He perhaps didn't sleep at all; I can see that...... why does he worry so much?" she shrugged to herself that Vipin also noticed but didn't respond to.

Tea was finished in silence.

"Get ready" he put the cup aside and declared.

Bansi got to senses in the morning even before the alarm rang. “Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaye”, he hardly finished the chant when alarm bell rang. He looked at Radhika, she was still asleep. “She perhaps kept awake longer” He told himself.

He got up and went straight to the washroom, and then to the kitchen where he picked his copper pot filled with water overnight and sat squatted with it. Then he drank up the whole pot in one go, got up and prepared for tea.

Till now, Radhika had also entered the kitchen to follow exactly the same ritual as Bansi did.

Tea was ready. They both came together in the balcony with their respective cups of tea.

“Kept awake late?” Bansi asked.

“No…not much…..anyway, you were about to tell something” she placed hers.

“At breakfast table” Bansi replied with a smile.

“It’s worth it…..you know” Radha told while sipping to finish.

“Right mam” Bansi also finished his and they both stood up to visit bathrooms. On their return, they swiftly changed into exercising gears.

After initial warm up, Bansi took pose for Surya Namaskar and chanted “Om Mitraya Namah”, but he noticed that Radhika was not doing the same.

“What’s up?”

“Not feeling energetic enough today; what if I do something else today?” she explained.

“Okay, but do” he replied and continued.

After 30 minutes, Radhika stopped and left for kitchen whereas, Bansi kept continued and stopped after 20 more minutes.

“What you think would have happened?” Radhika asked at breakfast table.
“Nothing much, I believe, except his illusion shattered, that he must be having” Bansi replied while having another morsel of his butter parantha.

“What illusion?” She felt intrigued.

“That quantity could ever dethrone quality…..and that was essential as so far as I think, he never used it before” Bansi told her.

Radhika opened her mouth to say something but Bansi interrupted her, raising his palm, “You just listen what Neha has to say and I know you will get what she underwent”

“That’s right but needn’t she be told something”

“Nothing….not today at least…..just see if Vipin is ready to come forward, to be open. Don’t push for anything, let her do it only if they both wish to; otherwise, we shouldn’t hope for anything fruitful. You know what I mean?” Bansi completed. Breakfast was finished.

Radhika nodded in affirmation, without breaking eye contact from Bansi.

“Most important would be to know about his opinion about our meeting and conversation last night… further course of action could be decided only after that” Bansi looked into Radhika’s eyes.

Though, Radhika was listening attentively, but at the same time she was thinking about the things to be done on her part, to be told to Neha.

As Bansi sensed it, he told her “Things shall start taking shape only now on, my dear Radhika. You could tell her that it is a very good phase of their married life. She is open to conception, so, they won’t be taking any contraceptive. Also, this and only a few months after the conception are also what Vipin has, to learn doing it without any contraceptives like we are doing for last 18 years”.

Bansi finished his glass of buttermilk and started again, “See Radhika, most of the things to be taken up or applied are to be done by Vipin only and Neha doesn’t have to ‘do’ much on her part. And I don’t want to tell Neha the things that are to be done by Vipin; by her ‘man’. What would she do with that? On the contrary, having known about those things… those acts and even tricks, she could get lost in the mechanism, assuming them as happening or waiting for them to happen, while making love and that may prove against her own interests. Let her remain only a receiver, telling her more than what she needs may go against her own interests only. I bet, even you don’t know much about what goes on in me when I am at it, do you?”

"You make love" she added coyly.

"Everybody does" Bansi couldn't check himself from smiling.

"You need to hear one thing" she came close and hugged Bansi while saying it. Her head was on his chest, opposite his face. She perhaps didn't want him to see her while she said what she was going to.

"Yes...." He prompted.

"Recently I tried to take account....." she said with her eyes closed and the most feeble yet luscious smile on her face. Though, her face was not visible to Bansi, he sensed her emotions and tightened his hug; He received the response too.

"I know" he replied.

"Let me finish......." she interrupted him. "Each and every word you've ever said in this matter so far is true; beyond doubt. But I realize it only after you have said it. Whenever I tried to assess the happenings, within and without, I lost my own track. My own joy started diminishing and gradually reached to the bottom, if I continued to gauge it. Every time, I had to abandon the pursuit of getting the recipe, in order to enjoy the dish or, I would have totally lost on it, something I can't afford."

"You even need not" Bansi told.

"But there is one thing for sure....... my perspective to view it has now changed; it has improved a lot more now" she stopped for a deep sigh.

Now Bansi took up the reigns, “Haven't you heard about that naughty Electron, which moves differently when it is observed. In fact, I too have got a whole new perspective of things after you put me to the task of telling and sort of teaching them to another man…. Believe me, till now I was only doing it, intuitively, but now I have started taking notice of what I actually do.......the things I avoid and abide by as well.” Bansi appeared overwhelmed. ‘I definitely knew… but telling the same to someone….to make someone achieve those very vibrations and subsequently the same goal, is a great new experience for me too. I can't be grateful enough to you Radhika, however, I often find myself afraid of things too….of the end result…… what and how would it is going to be. I, actually, never ever thought about sort of training somebody on that”. Now on, it’s going to be a little different for me too. I also sort of study” he smiled at Radhika and continued "However, unlike you, I can afford that".

“Don't worry, all will be fine....You just take it the way that you are telling to someone beloved of yours. Okay?…. Let’s move now” Radhika announced her decision and detached from him.

“Where are children?” Bansi asked, collecting his belongings.

“They are asleep…… they have to go to the fest in their University” she told.

“fine” Bansi replied and picked the keys from basket on the table and moved towards exit. Radhika also followed suit.

Bansi dropped Radhika in front of her office, where, as usual, Neha was already waiting for her arrival. She appeared chirpier.

“See you” they both uttered simultaneously. Bansi noticed Neha also waved him bye while leaving.
“Quantitative smile” came to Bansi......
